Crowns are the everyday money of Stoneholm, and titles are the marks you wear for what you've done. Neither is the premium currency — that's Ambers.
Crowns
- The denominations step 100 to 1: 100 copper = 1 iron, 100 iron = 1 silver, 100 silver = 1 gold (most people just say "gold" and "silver").
- Earned by looting NPCs, quest and daily-challenge rewards, and selling goods on the Market or at stalls.
- Crowns can't be looted from players — your coins are safe when you die.
- Because items bought with Contribution Points, Glory or Ambers can be resold for crowns, gold is the currency everything else converts into.
A point of confusion worth clearing up: a "token" in Gloria Victis is not a currency — "tokening" means starting siege preparations on a guild province. There's no event/redemption token economy.
Titles
Most titles give no bonus and are visible only to players in your own nation. They span PvP (God of War, Champion, Veteran), guild leadership, PvE slayer titles and crafting milestones (Apprentice/Journeyman/Master). They're mostly bragging rights — with one notable exception.
Weekly titles that do something — earned from the weekly rankings (F2), each awards 500 Contribution Points, lasts a week, and carries a real perk:
- Architect — upgrade points are free.
- Gardener — fertilize crops without fertilizer in your inventory.
- Scavenger — a golden pickaxe & shovel skin, applied automatically.
- Cutter — a golden logging axe skin, applied automatically.
- Craftsman — sign items without the "Sign Items" item.
