Glory is the game's reward system for fighting. You earn it by capturing and defending flags, joining [sieges](/wiki/combat-guides/sieges), and completing events — and it's the gateway to the best vendor recipes in the game.
Glory Points & Glory Levels
Glory Points accumulate into Glory Levels (GL). A Glory Level is an unlock threshold — it's the *permission* to buy certain vendor items and recipes. You still pay for those items with [Contribution Points](/wiki/economy-guides/points), not with Glory itself. So Glory Level says *what you may buy*; Contribution Points are *what you spend*.
The Glory ranking & weekly payout
- Glory Ranking (press F2) tracks total Glory per nation and is seasonal — a season runs roughly two months, and the top 3% earn end-of-season rewards including titles and gold.
- Every Friday, anyone who reached the 5,000-Glory entry point that week gets an automatic Contribution-Point reward, scaled by their rank and the server's population.
- Contribution Points are not wiped between seasons.
The vendors
Glory Vendors sell crafting recipes (armoursmithing, tailoring & leatherworking, weaponsmithing) for Contribution Points. They live at the fort connected to each capital — a gold star on the map, and a non-capturable, no-loot area:
| Nation | Capital | Glory Vendor fort |
|---|---|---|
| Ismir | Mereley | Fort Mereley |
| Midland | Dunfen | Fort Dunfen |
| Sangmar | Baalhammon | Fort Serai |
The Glory Quartermaster — found in the capital, its adjacent fort, and sufficiently-upgraded link locations — sells crafting materials, items and recipes plus character and account services, and stocks the same things for every nation.
What Glory buys you
- Recipes for weapons and armour sets, crafting tools, food, materials and decorations.
- Each nation has its own naming tiers — e.g. Ismir's Styrsman's → Styrborg, Midland's Guardsman's → Knight's → Karleonian, Sangmar's Legionary's → Knight's → Praetorian's — all topping out at the shared Champion's tier around GL 20.
- The Champion's armour and weapon set is exclusive to the Glory Vendor — its recipes do not drop anywhere in the world.
- Most vendor recipes and items can be resold for gold on [the Market](/wiki/economy-guides/the-market), making Glory an indirect income too.
Exact Contribution-Point prices per recipe shift with patches (and the wiki's tables carry some transcription noise), so treat in-game prices as authoritative. See the named sets themselves in the Armoury → Armour Sets.
