Ambers are Gloria Victis's premium currency, and the Supporter Shop (press K) is where you spend them. Crucially, almost nothing here is power you can't get in-game.
Ambers
- Bought with real money only — you can't earn or trade them in-game, except via occasional developer giveaways (events, contests, bug-report rewards).
- There's no fixed Amber-to-gold rate; players trade them at a loose floor of roughly 100 Ambers : 1 gold, set per deal.
- Most Amber items are also buyable in-game with crowns or Contribution Points — and you can buy with Ambers and resell on the Market for gold.
- A 72-hour delay can apply before an Amber purchase reaches your account.
What the shop sells
- Cosmetic skins and character/account services — many of the same services are also sold for Contribution Points at the [Glory Quartermaster](/wiki/economy-guides/glory).
- Skins are account-wide, alter appearance only (never stats), and exist for tier-4 (purple) and tier-5 (orange) gear — T4 uses your nation's secondary colour, T5 the primary.
- Skins are not lootable (a looter gets the base item) and can be traded on the Market — an effective Ambers-to-gold path.
- Character services bind to the character that claims them; skins apply account-wide.
The Tuesday Sale
From the server restart early Tuesday to early Wednesday, there's a 24-hour window in which durability-damaged items can be sold on [the Market](/wiki/economy-guides/the-market). The rest of the week, damaged gear can only move through [player stalls](/wiki/economy-guides/stalls-and-depots).
Heraldry symbols are one of the more useful Supporter Shop buys — see how they fit a crest in Heraldry.
