Three different "points" run alongside crowns, and they do completely different jobs. Don't confuse them.
Contribution Points (CP)
- Earned from PvE world events, the Valley of Death Tournament, and daily challenges; not wiped between seasons. Check them in your inventory (I) or on F2 → My Profile.
- Spent at the [Glory Vendors and Glory Quartermaster](/wiki/economy-guides/glory) — with some items gated behind a Glory Level.
- Sample earn rates: Catacombs 650, Sea Wraiths 390, Valley of Death 300, Deadly Harvest 300/200, the smaller events 80–200, and daily challenges 100 each up to a 400/day cap.
- Most CP-bought items resell for gold on the Market.
Daily challenges (press H): pick 3 per day from a rotating list. They can be repeated forever but get harder, and stop paying Contribution Points after the 12th completion — which is what the 400/day cap reflects.
Nation Points (NP)
Nation Points level your guild. They're account-bound, earned on every PvP kill in proportion to your damage, and donated at a Nation Commander (capital) or Castle Keeper (guild province), where they convert to Guild Points (guild XP).
- A full solo kill = 750 NP; doing >25% of the damage to a kill adds +250.
- You lose up to 500 NP per death (PvP or PvE, including falls and drowning), never below zero.
- NP banks unsecured until you die — on death you lose 500 unsecured and the rest becomes secured (persistent, never lost, capped at 20,000).
- Holding 1,001 unsecured NP grants the Fighter Buff: −5s respawn time.
- Diminishing returns apply to killing the same player; killing underdog-nation players and brand-new Greenleaf players yields less or nothing.
NP is the bridge between the open-world war and your guild's level — turning them in is how a warband funds its castle.
Mentor Points
Mentor Points reward teaching. When a Greenleaf or Goldleaf newbie in your party levels up, every nearby party member gains +1 — and Mentor Points quietly improve your chance-based outcomes across the game.
- They raise the odds of equipment [reinforcement](/wiki/crafting-guides/reinforcing) success, crafting success, learning recipes on [disassembly](/wiki/crafting-guides/disassembly), gathering, dig-pit loot, and PvE/chest loot.
- Returns diminish — about 1,500 is the practical soft cap — but there's no hard limit.
- High-Mentor players are sought out for reinforcing other people's gear, since their odds are best.
