Movement, Fast Travel & Commands

Getting around Stoneholm — how movement ties to stamina, the Logistician fast-travel system and its native-territory limits, and the chat and utility commands worth binding to memory.

Knowing how to move — and how to skip the long ride — is half of staying alive and getting to the fight on time.

Movement & stamina

ActionStamina
Idle (standing still)Regenerates fastest
Walk (Caps Lock) / Jog (W)Regenerates
Sprint (Shift + W)Drains
Move backward (S)Slower than jog; can't sprint backward

Strafing (W + A/D) is slower than running with W and turning the mouse — it matters when you're chasing or being chased. In a duel, the way you win the stamina war is to stop attacking, block, and stand or walk to recover.

Fast travel

The Logistician NPC (covered white-wagon icon, near the gate in every capital, castle and fort) teleports you for a small gold fee. Its reach is your native territory — up to two links from the capital — and you can't fast-travel outside it, no matter how much map your nation holds.

  • You can't fast-travel to a frontline location under siege (a burning flag) — ride or run instead.
  • You can't fast-travel to a location whose link to the capital is cut, or to a flag that isn't on the link system at all.
  • Grey flags in the map's centre carry a 45-minute teleport cooldown.
  • Tents are the other way to skip travel — respawn at one, or click its map icon to teleport.
