Stations & furnaces
Crafting happens at stations in controlled territory. Higher-tier workshops give more XP, quality and output — and smelting runs on player-placed furnaces whose fuel sets the temperature.
Profession workshops
Profession workshops sit in controlled territory with a quality tier +0 to +4 (upgrades + Bastion efficiency). Pilgrim's Rock = +3 no upkeep; guild provinces reach +4. Higher tier = more XP, quality, output. Some recipes need a minimum tier (e.g. Armoursmith +2, Tailor +2).
| Profession | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Armoursmithing | Temples, Castles, Forts |
| Weapon Forging | Temples, Castles, Forts |
| Tailoring & Leatherworking | Temples, Castles, Forts |
| Cooking & Alchemy | Inns (inside temples/castles/forts) |
| Engineering | Lumber Mills (Sawhorse / Carpentry Table / Hearth / Lime Kiln) |
| Metallurgist | Mines |
| Villager's Workshop | Farms (charcoal, tannin, hide glue) |
Quality tiers: +0 to +4.
Smelting & roasting furnaces
Smelting & Roasting is a separate skill tree (press '). Player-placed furnaces run unattended on fuel; fuel sets max temperature and each recipe needs a minimum temp. Place in a Smelting District / loot area for 125-150% speed.
